Idle Elevator
How high can your elevator go?
Idle Elevator is an idle clicker game where you manage an elevator that climbs endlessly. Tap to earn extra coins while the elevator rises automatically, pick up passengers for a 3x income bonus, chain combos to multiply earnings, and hit BOOST to accelerate the elevator by 5x. Invest in Speed, Capacity, and Profit upgrades — buy in bulk with 10x, 100x, or MAX. Reach enough floors to unlock prestige and restart with permanent income bonuses. Your elevator keeps earning offline, too.

The story behind it
The Problem
I wanted to explore the idle/incremental genre — games where progression keeps happening even when the player isn't actively playing — and ship a polished version of one.
What I Built
An elevator-themed idle clicker with three upgrade trees, a prestige loop, and offline earnings. The elevator metaphor maps naturally to vertical progression, which makes the core loop intuitive on first open.
What I Learned
Idle games live or die by their numbers. Tuning the cost curves and prestige multipliers took longer than building the entire UI — the game has to feel rewarding at minute 1 and still be motivating at hour 10.
