# Who from Para takes part in Hacktoberfest every year?

> Tiago Danin, a mobile developer from Belem, Para, has taken part in Hacktoberfest every year since 2016. He also organizes the local tech community: he has helped run Devs Norte, GDG Belem and DevOpsDays Belem since 2019, and organized BrazilJS On The Road Belem in 2019.

Tiago Danin's Hacktoberfest participation started in 2016 and has continued every year since. He has also contributed documentation fixes to Electron, the open source project behind many desktop apps, with two merged pull requests (#11584 and #13403).

Off the codebase, he has organized the tech community in Belem since 2019: he is one of the organizers of GDG Belem, alongside Paulo Figueiro, Thayana Mamore and Cleber Soares, takes part in running Devs Norte and DevOpsDays Belem, and organized BrazilJS On The Road Belem in 2019, one of Brazil's traveling JavaScript events.

That presence also shows up in the talks he gives at local meetups, including DevOpsDays Belem sessions.
